As the warmth of June settles in, we find ourselves standing at one of the most beautiful crossroads of the year. This upcoming weekend, we have the double joy of celebrating Father’s Day and welcoming the official start of summer. Around here, those two milestones mean exactly the same thing: gathering with the people we love, fire pits in the backyard, long afternoons at our favorite regional farmers markets, and, of course, sharing incredible food. 

When I first started Dee’s Little Sweets, my mission was deeply rooted in the heart of the kitchen. I wanted to create a space where memories are made around the table—without anyone having to sit out because of an allergy or dietary restriction. That is why everything rolling out of our ovens is always 100% gluten-free and vegan.

For Father’s Day, creating inclusive desserts is particularly special. Dads are often the backbone of the weekend barbecue, the masters of the grill, and the ones cheering loudest from the sidelines. They deserve to be celebrated with treats that don't compromise on flavor or texture. If you’ve ever been skeptical of allergen-friendly baking, we invite you to try our sweets. Our goal has always been to craft desserts that are just as moist, rich, and delicious as the classics you grew up with—just entirely without the allergens. 

As we transition into the official summer season, our weekly routine is kicking into high gear. Summer in New England is defined by its vibrant community spaces, and we are incredibly proud to be a consistent part of that fabric. For us, summer means loading up the truck and heading out to connect with you directly at our local market stops. 

We have always been deeply passionate about supporting local businesses and shopping with the amazing local vendors who make our community thrive. There is an undeniable magic to a summer farmers market—the fresh produce, the handmade goods, and the shared commitment to keeping our local economy strong. To help you celebrate Dad and ring in the sunshine, we’re stocking our market stands with an assortment of our crowd favorites. Our elegant Cake Pucks—which are a staple on our menu year-round—and our melt-in-your-mouth Cake Truffles will be available in a beautiful array of assorted flavors, perfect for sharing at any backyard gathering. And for those who want a little bit of everything, our signature Cupcake Samplers will be ready to go, featuring separate, distinct profiles like our rich Chocolate and classic Vanilla, alongside other seasonal favorites.
