The birds are singing, the coastal breeze is warm, and the outdoor market season is officially in full swing!! June is truly one of the most beautiful months of the year here in New England. It brings longer days, vibrant fields, and that unmistakable, joyful energy that comes with the official start of summer.

For us at Dee’s Little Sweets, June also means packing up the truck and heading out into our local communities to share delicious, safe treats with all of you. There is nothing quite like the buzz of an outdoor market morning, and we are so grateful to be back out under the sun, catching up with familiar faces and meeting new friends.

A Match Made in Summer Heaven: Strawberry & Mango 🥭🍓

To celebrate the arrival of the sunshine, we wanted to create a flavor profile that tastes exactly like a perfect summer day. We are so excited to introduce our brand-new flavor experience: the Gluten-Free Vegan Strawberry Mango Cupcake!!

When imagining this recipe, we wanted to pair the familiar sweetness of a New England summer staple with a bright, tropical twist. The result is pure bliss:

The Cake: An incredibly moist mango cake that captures a soft, tropical sweetness.

The Filling: A vibrant, sweet strawberry filling tucked right inside.

The Frosting: A gorgeous, eye-catching swirl of layered mango and strawberry buttercream topped with fun mango gummie candy!!

Like everything we bake, this new treat is 100% Gluten-Free & Vegan. We pour a lot of love (and kitchen science!) into making sure our desserts keep all their moisture and flavor without ever using traditional allergens like gluten, dairy, or eggs. It’s a safe, incredibly delicious bite that everyone can enjoy while strolling through the sunshine.
